Time to soon roll again
put this big rig to the wind
wishing I had some company
He said it right when he said,
"Iv got pretty decoration
for my codriver seat"
Now their ride is over
they have settled in for home
Im out here truckin
lonely highways alone
wish she would come with me
just one short trip would do
to brighten the nights
when the moon isnt light
to lesson the ride of gloom
Ill settle for things as they are
for now its the way it must be
but tonight when Im heading
into the sunset Ill just have to dream.
10-4 Ill be round a bout the west bound
turn around see you soon
