Again I whisper those words
You said "I heard you the first time"
I'm in disblief

You kept me waiting
Waiting all this time
Put me through the anguish
The anguish of saying it again; for the first time

But I figured out why
You wanted this moment to be just right
I couldn't see it then
But I can see it oh so clearly now
As I wipe the tears from your eyes
You mutter those sweet little words

As I kiss you softly
