Three steps back
One look up, as if not to look back
Try and say sorry when you’ll only do worse tomorrow
Trying to shed away my tears when you’re the provider of all my sorrow

Come to me like you actually care, when my enemies have been nicer
The way things are going, you could cut the atmosphere with a slicer
So what is the point in this grief stricken pain
When all either of us do is just sit here and complain

It’s all very well to dream of a garden
But if we don’t sew the seeds
All we will be picking is weeds
So lets site down and count the trees
Trim of the old bits and make room for new leaves

Lets be positive and clean up well
If we are going to make this work
We will have to dust, clean and tell
So lets do it together and do it well
Pick up the pieces so that us together can dwell
