[title] => The Swan Of The Mist
[time] => 2004-06-23 16:34:37
[hometext] => This poem is about the beauty of nature.
[bodytext] => The moon, her radiance all aglow Heralds the night like lanterns low And clouds, their pattern all around Resembling patchwork does abound, And rising up in levels there A stairway to Heaven, white and fair. From Nature's art there is a scene Of beauty mild, soft, serene, Moonlit rays through trees doth shine, A shimmering brook past cinging vine Makes her way down through the wood, A babbling path so clear and good. Flowers wild scent the air And drops of dew so small are there Upon petals white, and yellow hue Adorn the centers with a view Of splendor, from the Hand Of their Creator, then a grand And wondrous beauty does unfold Through the streaming rays, behold, A waterfall from mountain high With gentle gushes flowing nigh From cleft of rock come tumbling down To pools below and sprays abound. From this beauteous enchanted land On the water's silvery strand Comes the swan of purest white, Like a queen, of royal might Gliding peacefully with grace and, lo, She fades away in moonlight low.
