Like an owl awaiting the dark veil of night,
He sits awaiting the time to strike.
Hooded and cloaked he stands unnoticed,
Watching us with eyes, black and solemn.
Discrimination he does not know,
Intrusion and interference prove no qualms.
Deadlocks, alarms nothing keeps us safe,
Safe from this predator without a soul.
With the veil of night do the visions come,
Visions of imagination or reality?
Is it him I see or is it paranoia?
Like a starved tiger does he stalk,
Hidden by the cover of grass overgrown.
No escape is possible from,
The stalker that is Death!
