i wanna know who i am
what i deserve
my heart is a box with a rusted lock
it will be impossible to find the key

tell me who i am
make me be in love with you
and write mushy poems
and talk about the depth of your eyes
the scent of your hair
and how wonderful you kiss

i used to love love
i felt like i was flying when you would talk to me
but now...
now you see me and i could care less
now i kiss u and i want to spit it out
you touch me and i don't feel any fieworks

and people write about how wondeful everything is and i think

that maybe i should give up on love if it isn't fun,
until i find it

my true love...
it sounds so right, but is it wrong?

I can relate to this. I'm always questioning and second-guessing myself. I've always wanted that wonderful, amazing, "perfect" love. Don't give up on love, but don't let it be everything you think about. When you find it, you'll know that it's right, and meant to be.
