It's another day
To live through
Nothing matters anymore
When the one you love
Is dying alone
Nothing can bring them back
Not even you
The one who gave the world
The world left them
To die alone

You feel it was your fault
That they died alone
That the suicide note
Was written for you
You were the reason
They died so soon
You can't forgive yourself
You weren't there for them
When they needed you

You try to wash away the hate
That you feel for yourself
You try to look in the mirror
And it shatters itself
You try to look yourself in the eye
And you only see
Someone that should've died
To give yourself instead of them
For them to live

It's another day
For you to live through
And you wish you could
Pick up the glass
And shatter your skin

It's another day
That you live with fault
And you wish you could
Wash away the hate
But you feel it's useless
The one you lived for
Died because of you
And you can't wash away

Dying Alone

It's another day
To live through
Nothing matters anymore
When the one you love
Is dying alone
Nothing can bring them back
Not even you
The one who gave the world
The world left them
To die alone

You feel it was your fault
That they died alone
That the suicide note
Was written for you
You were the reason
They died so soon
You can't forgive yourself
You weren't there for them
When they needed you

You try to wash away the hate
That you feel for yourself
You try to look in the mirror
And it shatters itself
You try to look yourself in the eye
And you only see
Someone that should've died
To give yourself instead of them
For them to live

It's another day
For you to live through
And you wish you could
Pick up the glass
And shatter your skin

It's another day
That you live with fault
And you wish you could
Wash away the hate
But you feel it's useless
The one you lived for
Died because of you
And you can't wash away
The truth

..yeah you can't. and never will be able to. it will always be there, as a shadow. as a haunting pressance. unless you prove other wise!
don't be so hard on your self! you can't change the past, but you can change the future!
o'k, so that's easier said than done, i know. but no one said it's goingto be easy.
hang on in there.

This poem was beautiful. But it's not your fault. Many people just fall into a pit of self-hatered and they still love others but have no love for themselves and no one can go on living that way. It's not your fault. Hang in there

sometimes there's nothing you can do when you have the chance....the only thing you can say is that they are your everything, what you live for...i wrote a poem about that. anyhow, i don't know if this is real experience or not but this poem is really touching. nice job :)

Sometimes they go..with out the note........and you still blame your self because you couldnt help....dont be so meant to your self........Believe me.....you can love and be in love, but it takes two. Both have to have the heart and make it work.
