Ive been left inside this house for days
Watching as they wind on without me
So easily it seems
Countless times Ill never know
When youll return to me
Chorus: Locked away
Until you come home
I long for you every day
Hoplessly awaiting
I cant breathe
When youve gone away
Return to me
So I can be free
I cant escape the sent you left
Stains on all the memories I hold
I dont dare leave my heart again
I fear it might just leave me here cold
CHORUS
Remain here with me
Protecting it all from the creeping loniliness
Pretend youll never leave once more
hold me drenched in your thoughtfulness
So every morning Ill never stray
from believing youll come home one day

Its such a coincidence that the first poem I ever wrote was titled Locked Away.

this was amazing the last two verses really hit me hard, "Stains on all the memories I hold" I loved that line the best keep it up.

| Soulless let me be the first to say that I have been very entriqued by your writing. Always have been a fan. EXCELLENT WRITE. Theres no letter short for that. I could see thins song as hit with a alternitive beat, maybe something by apc or stone sour. |
