Oh, holy one you who are and you who were"

So what if she no longer wants your word
she'll make her own
That sea of blood will sooth your open sores
and that bloody stream will be your tears
They always praise the one who abandoned them
They say darkness will fall upon her masters kingdom
but they played "Gloria"
Oh, holy one this dogma's just another fairy tale
full of black flowers and serpents inbetween the lines
Oh holy one! It's not like I placed those nails in your life

How the savior has abandoned his own dogma
How many ways to show them you're just a puffy cloud
It's not like she killed him on her own
maybe just a hateful spear in his heart
So what if her master guided her to the fruit
Curse her stigmata that comes in the night

And still they pray for a better day
They don't see that he left them this way
Starving children with apocalyptic sin
Broken down in stranglehold

Mr. St. Mathew just bring your book
tell them of their fundamentals
I'll denude them of their Holy One
Show them that their savior is just yesterdays news [comments] => 3 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 13 [informant] => KurdtBeantheWIKKED [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Christ is not "yesterday's news..." He is the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End. You will see.
