I saw you yesterday standing on the street
and my heart skipped a beat
It had been so long since I saw you
I did not know what to do should I walk
over and say hello or should I turn around
and walk away
I remember the night we said goodbye
you said it was you or the bottle and as
I took that drink you walked out our door
Its been five years now and you looked so
happy with our little girl that i just turned
and walked back into that bar and said
give me one more I wish i could have been the women you needed but i never was and I never will be but I know that you will watch
over our little girl
