[time] => 2002-10-23 16:30:00 [hometext] => Haven't you ever heard the expression about girls turning into their mothers??? Well... I've been noticing that I have... and it's scaring me... hope you get a kick out of this! [bodytext] => Oh no, someone help me,
I am turning into my mother,
I simply don't understand why I couldn't turn into
Any single other
Person on this planet...
But to develop all her mannerisms and quirks,
Next I'll be wearing her shoes,
And loving all the same perks.
And a few years down the road
I'm going to want to wear my hair the same way...
Oh would someone please shoot me,
I just noticed the changes today!!!
I know that it couldn't have been
Appearing ages and ages ago...
I would have noticed them by now surely...
Nevermind, the quirks just have to go.
I need an antidote...
Some kind of remedy...
You just don't understand what becoming my mom would mean...
It would terrify me silly...
To hear her favorite expressions
Coming out of my mouth...
Help!!! Someone please!!!
I need the antidote fast now!!!

I had a real chuckle at this :)))) I have noticed I say the same things to my kids that my Mum used to say to me - really silly expressions - and I wonder why I do it !!

This is a great poem and is so true,
I say and do some of the things my mother done. This is really cute.
