Array ( [sid] => 55830 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Paradise [time] => 2004-07-12 11:29:39 [hometext] => [bodytext] => I was born In a place where u see no hope for survival I was born where people were dying of gunshot wounds and drug overdosed and poverty before sunrise and sundown

U judge me because of this u hated the way I see ur world that perfect TV world where rich daddy buys u everything and beauty and size got u everything

See my world is where schools can't afford update books for kids remind u of what real while u are being serve ur breakfast In ur million dollar home

Well this is my paradise my gangsta paradise

Kids living on the streets while u close ur eyes
Well this is my paradise my gangsta

How u built ur country on our backs and took away our land because of greedy hearts because we really were born kings and Queens and u white man
couldn't allow it and then u force us to do the same thing to native Americans y'all was born with greedy hearts and the desire to always control

how we are now getting on top In your world by playing our own game How we are Invading ur white bubble
We are running our Corp office We don't sit in the back of bus anymore We are In charge, here to stay how our worlds now collide

U hate that kids have to learn from us how ur son wish he was like me talk like me be real like me know the truth like me that he didn't have to live in that bubble u create for him

They wish they had a taste of my paradise my gangsta paradise I hate when this kids act like they live in my world

Well love and music was all we needed why we are the kings and Queens of music why we are the inventors of our times
We gave pride to ur music we gave u music we gave u style we gave u class we gave u flavor from comb rolls to color we made the best foods we gave a style to the way we speak

so welcome to my paradise my gangster paradise
my paradise well the fittest of strongest survival

Do u wanna come to my paradise
Come on

Oh Remi dear thanking you so much for your lovely comment! And Yes, I will come with you to your Paradise, for Paradise is where we find ourselves. Good or bad! I was abused unmercifully as child in the 50's where there was noone to help me, so that was my Paradise dear, and I did just what you have done...........I made the best of it even though filled with fear!
I love you Remi dear.
And I love your poetry too!
I'm the zero buster!!!! at YPDC
Warm love
