[bodytext] => Introduction: I wrote this song shortly before I left the church I was going to. This was a very tough decision for me because I was a member for over 11 years. The fact is that we both made mistakes that hurt each other and in retrospect I should not have left. I am sick today so I will not be going but I miss them; yes I am going back to church again and it is there. The people at this church are like family to me closer to me than my own family. when I left the church I only had one friend out side the church during this time my mom passed away and my friend moved away -I fell into a deep depression pouring myself into my writing because that was all I had or so it seemed. I guess I am apologizing for all the things I put people through on the site during that time. I am doing better and realize some things I need to do to heal completely so that I can continue to write honestly. I am greatly thankful to the people who have continued to reach out their hands in friendship during that time, they are too many to name. Later I hope to post a copy of this with the notes so that people can have an idea of the melody but for now I am just happy to share this song with you. (Song) If I had the chance to fall in love again; there'd be so many things that i would do I would tell you everyday how much i cared (If I could fall) in love with you If I had the chance to fall in love again; there would be so many things that I would never do I would never raise my voice when disagreements came If I had the chance for love again I must admit that you have hurt me deeper so much deeper than any one could do I also know that I have hurt you just as badly too because i was untrue If I had the chance to fall in love again there would be so many things that I would do I'd give all of my heart right from the start (if I could fall) in love again I'd let nothing tear you from my heart (if I could fall) If I had a chance to ever fall in love with you... I rewrote this song 4 times since the original writing and could not finish it until recently I would not normally share such personal imfo about myself but i think it was warranted and this is my answer for the untitled poem as well as "The winter of my youth" and numerous other sad or angry poems I have placed on site.
