I know you hate me,
It's not just that you hit..

| Of course it's okay for your age! No one can tell you what to write. There are no restrictions. I'm 13 too. I'm sure she loves you, maybe she's just a bit busy right now. Even if that's no the case, try and be self dependant. I know it must be quite hard, But please don't kill yourself over it. Soon you'll escape her, have more of your own life w/ plenty of other people who WILL love you, and you'll love back. Just hang in there. |

yes this is more than fine for your age, I am sorry that you feel like this, I felt the same when I was 13 very depressed and hated eveyrthing in life etc...

Your not gonna like what I have to say, due to my strong views on suicide which I have attempted countless times.
First of all, you know damned well this kind of poem isnt 'alright' for ANYONE let alone someone in a particular age group. I've done the same tact before on this site to get much needed attention. Second of all, no matter how ***** your life is, (I should no, read my poems) you cant even consider ending your life, because nothing in the world is worth doing such a selfish act. I think of suicide and death, for nearly six years of my life, and harbouring those feelings at such a young age wont do any favours. I understand that depression is a horrible burden that cant be shifted, at least not without force, but there are ways around it, the most important one, talk to someone, talk to anyone, just find someone who will listen, a childminder, a school councelor, a social worker, a good samaratain, ANYONE, because it will work to get the weight of your shoulders. Thirdly, or secondly, this poem is very a-typical of someone your age, no offence to anyone, but as a teenager you get confused, dissilluisoned and believe that the world is against you. But you have to realize the world isnt the one against you, you are the one against yourself, and you have to work to trying to beat that. I also know my father doesnt love me, he told me himself, I was a bastard son, so I know how that feels. But i reckon she (your mom) does love you, and she does care for you, simply by the way you wrote your (ps). Teenagers think they know EVERYTHING, i should know, but trust me, if you go trhough with it, it wont justkill you, it will kill your whole ***** family. Your mom does care and so do your siblings. Its as simple as that, its rare for a mother to not care about her children, she may not show it, but trust me she does. I think shes the first on your to talk to list. You need to talk, with someone or everyone, because in the end you'll end up like me, and thats the worst thing that could possible happen to you.
What have I left out? Please dont do it, because from this poem you seem like a brilliant writer, and thats what the world needs most of all nowadays, to lose you or anyone like you would be a tragic loss, so please dont go trhough with it, because you wont just hurt yourself or kill yourself, you will hurt and kill everything around you, because people will care. Good luck, and bring out some more good poems!
Ps. I'm still a complete mess up, i never sought help, i let it kill me from the inside. I went trhough with it 2 times. I obviously didnt suceed. But I spend most days with a razor next to my wrist, contemplating, and no matter what happens I always remember, no matter what I think, everyone around me will get hurt. |

Ps. I didnt want you to take my comment the wrong way, your poem was brilliant, and very well written. I just think its sad that theirs so many young intelligent people such as your self. contemplating suicide. You have the right to feel whatever you want to feel, but if something hurts that bad, you have to try and change it, so that you can be happy, happiness is the greatest most powerful emotion of them all.
With great talent comes great pain, but the pain doesnt always have to be there, you can make it stop, by helping yourself. Sorry I usually get a little frustrated when I read suicide poems, its very depressing, knowing the whole world is just waiting to die. |
