Array ( [sid] => 5702 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => WORKING CLASS [time] => 2002-10-27 12:00:00 [hometext] => THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO THE PEOPLE WHO DO ALL THE WORK BUT NEVER GET THE CREDIT. WE WILL RISE ABOVE. [bodytext] => EVERYTIME WE RECEIVE A PAY RAISE THE COST OF LIVING GOES UP, AND IT BECOMES VERY CLEAR THAT THE RAISE IS NEVER QUITE ENOUGH.

CORPORATE GREED, HEAVY TAXATION, OVERTIME PAY EATEN BY INFLATION, THIS IS STRICTLY UPHILL; BUY SOME FOOD OR PAY ANOTHER BILL.

THE UNION SAYS THEY ARE THE ONLY LINE OF DEFENSE, DONT LET THEM INTIMIDATE YOU SHOW SOME COMMON SENSE. MANAGEMENT SAYS DO WHAT YOU MUST BUT OUR OPERATION IS BASED ON TRUST.

BIG BUSINESS HAS US BY THE THROAT, GOVERNMENT SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO REGULATE BUT YOU KNOW THEY WONT.
WORKERS OF THE WORLD UNITE, BUT HOW CAN THAT BE? WHEN COMPETITION IS ALWAYS SEEN AS THE ENEMY. Well, I don't agree with Norticus. I work as a waitress and go to school... and it's tough getting up at 5 am to go to school, leave there at 4 go to work pull a five to six hour shift on my feet, go home and do homework... get to bed by one... get up the next morning and do it all again. All for a little over minimum wage... and basically no tips because people don't think to leave any money... (Hey you guys!!! Don't forget to tip your waitresses!!! We need the tip money!!! It pays our bills!!!) Thanks for writing something that other people wouldn't.

Gin
