Haunting my dreams
I see your smile
Every hair is now standing
All my emotions compile
Suddenly I face
All I thought was passed
And see its still there
But this time it lasts
I close my eyes
As my heart begins to drop
Knowing I can t have you
And my feelings wont stop
Torturing my heart
I think about times
When we were together
And fun should have been a crime
Lost in your arms Id fall
For eternity I wanted your love
But torn apart again
I fear I wont ever rise above
My tears fall for the thought
That I will never know
If we were meant for each other
And how far it would go
Lost in my own memories
That wont seem to go away
Captivated by all of them
But wishing they would not stay
Alone and haunted I wait
To know how you feel
If these feelings I hope you have
Are still real!

As i said just recently to someone else...
Memories cause us so much pain yet they are the hardest thing to let go of.
So much sadness and pain in this.
And it is a beautiful poem too.
