Array ( [sid] => 5736 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Carillon and Carrion [time] => 2002-10-27 20:15:00 [hometext] => A power ballad about playing in the moonlight. [bodytext] => The bells ring
With such force
Bring me your chil-
dren and god will-
ing I will love them
with my might.

The bodies
Are like tar
Seas and I’m drow-
ning and resoun-
ding and I will sing
For all time.

Carol on and Carry on
My Carillon and Carrion
I wish you well
While we’re in Hell
And on the crack.
Mom has no back
To prop me up
My sipper cup.
So don’t delay
It’s time to play.
My Carillon and Carrion
I’ll carol on and carry on.

My energies
Come from bo-
dies and big bells
like these holler
if you please to sing
tonight with me.

Transcend this place
And outer
Space right to the
moon we’ll be
there soon and then the
fun will start.

I’ll carol on and carry on
My Carillon and Carrion
And if you please
Come fly with me
Come cry with me
Come die with me
And then you’ll see
Just what I mean
When I do say
Come out to play.
Tonight we’ll rise.
We are alive.

The bells all ring
Come children
sing and we will
play our souls away.
The fire’s bright.
This is our night.

The bodies
Are like star
Seas one for every
Person I see
And they’re glittering
And they’re littering
And they’re shining
And they’re whining
But their souls are free
So sing with me.

I’ll carol on and carry on
My Carillon and Carrion
And if you please
Come fly with me
Come cry with me
Come die with me
And then you’ll see
Just what I mean
When I do say
Come out to play.
Tonight we’ll rise.
We are alive.

Tonight we’ll rise.
We are alive. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 232 [topic] => 34 [informant] => Butterat_Zool [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )

I like the use of tempo in this one and some of the concepts were unique. I even got lost in a couple areas, but I suppose it has some inside meaning that would explain it all. I give this a 4.1 on the Nortiscale.
