Ready to face danger un-shown
They throw me a gun and tell me to fight
I swear I’ll dream of you at night

Our last night together you held me tight
Till we see dawns first light
My daddy raised his win glass high
And said “may their blood stain the sky”

Off on a plane I think of you
I’ll do my best to make it threw
I’m scared just but you can’t see
Threw the shield I put around me

If I die and you receive the flag
And I come home in a bag
Fly my flag day and night
Let it be our boys light

My greatest honor will be to die
For my country I hold most high
Never forget what I have said
Always know it’s for you I’ve bled
