[time] => 2002-10-28 10:00:00 [hometext] => This is dedicated to all those who just want to forget a love that was never real, to those who know what it is like to love and never be loved back and then are haunted by this pain. R.I.P. - let love rest in peace. [bodytext] => Tonight
I took you out
Into the graveyard
For lost souls
And laid you in
A grave teen feet deep.
Maybe now you'll stay.

I pluck the petals
Off a red rose
And whisper words you'll never hear
And lay a thorny stem
Across your face.
The thorn cut without blood.
Maybe now you'll stay.

I close the coffin door
And forget that you were ever there.
It's time I let you go,
Time I let you die
And rot in a grave
As you deserve.
I throw ten feet of dirt upon you.
Maybe now you'll stay. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 253 [topic] => 22 [informant] => Chabelita [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

I hope now they stay away, and if not, at least over time, it will dull to just an annoying little ache...

Talk about deep! (pun) lol. I like this one a lot. Its very touching to me because I can relate. Loving someone and not receiving any love in return is harsh. It shattered me before. But I am glad that I don't feel they need to be punished, because I know that we don't choose who we love.
