a trance, heavy and deep,
a color of blood-red roses,
untying knots that bind my feet to the earth.
The night is blurred
when the sounds are clear-
a music filling up rivers in deserts…

When sometimes in my sleep,
I wander to faraway places,
letting an echo lead me,
and my soul is a traveler…
looking for life-
under wooden bridges and dusty wheels,
on dark highways and moonlit fields.

When sometimes, the shadows
tell stories of dream-like lights,
the night listens
and my soul is a story-teller…
speaking of life that lives-
in sea-washed hands and faded footprints,
in faces touched by silver wings.

When sometimes,
the flowers bloom into seeds,
when the night softens,
and my soul is a child…
reaching out a hand for life-
that floats away with a balloon,
that dances with the fireflies.

Sometimes, when the skies kneel,
and the night rises to fill the stars with dreams,
my soul is the search of a traveler,
a child’s guileless sleep,
a sailor’s storm-weary hands,
a dreamer’s eternity.
Sometimes when
the night is deep…

There is an echo of beauty and longing in this that inspires me. The feeling goes along perfectly with the images of starsheen and moonlit fields. All of this speaks very deeply to me. A' fiňr cŕna aur-feidra!

You are indeed a story-teller, and a master at that. As Andrew said, your poems awaken passions and longing. Very inspiring.
Take care.
David
