You hate me
I am to blame
You can't forgive me
I was the cause
For all of this
What went wrong
Why we fell apart

You tried to break me
Into conforming
You tried to save me
From myself
You tried everything
I couldn't change myself
Not for anyone else

But I'm breaking apart
Because of myself

We fell apart
Because I couldn't be saved
All of this was in vain
I couldn't be broken away
To conform to you
In any way
But I'm breaking apart
More each day

You hate me
For never being
Someone else
When the price
Was you
I am to blame
For ever thinking
You could be better
Than this
The price I pay
For it
