I've been having writer's block lately. Hope you enjoy (sorry for the lame title) Feel free to comment. [bodytext] => The barrel clicks, another falls
The bullet pierces skull
He spreads his wings and starts to rise
His blade growing dull
The metal swings into another chest
Tearing through bone
Organs burst, red mist fills the air
The devil blood-red shone
He smiles as he lifts his gun
And sword to meet his foe
The angel stops and glares ahead
Gripping blade, ready to go
The warriors clash, black and white
Bullets flying, swords slashing
Sparks 'cause flame, bathing them aglow
Still, the warriors fight, clashing
Black and white wings beat the air
Devil and Angel locked in battle
A moment of shock as a sword's run through
The lungs of the angel, his chest rattles
The devil smiles in triumph
Handguns lock on target and lets fire
Bullets crack through the air
The scene of blood only death can admire
The devil floats to the ground
Draws near the blood-stained warrior
The Angel tries to drawn a final breath
Bullets riddle his body, tearing him asunder
The devil turns to leave the hell
That's been wrought upon the heavens
The war commences
Between the unholy and holy, hell and heaven [comments] => 1 [counter] => 246 [topic] => 40 [informant] => TheLastStringCut [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
