And ever so slowly she was dying
She would cut her skin, slit by slit
Until she decided that was it
She took a piece of paper and pen
And went into her father’s den
Where she wrote him a note
She left it by his long rain coat
The sad note read:
When you read this I will be dead
I know you loved and cared about me
But you were the only one, you see
So this is where I leave you now
I wish that you only knew how
How badly that I hurt inside
Because that is the reason that I died
I just want to let you know
How much I loved you and I’m sorry I didn’t let it show
And that was the end of her little note
Then she stuck a gun down her throat
She said goodbye to this cruel place
And finally her pain became erased
But if you were to look into her eyes
You could see the painful lies
All the lies that she was told
The lies that she was told to hold
They filled her with such misery and pain
Which made her completely insane
She didn’t really want to die
But no longer did she want to cry
But as you see her life did not prevail
And that is the end of this sad tale
