on the brown dust of life,

then melt into new rivers of hope.

I want to lose my way tonight
and reach a place where no one has been,

then find you waiting there, just for me.

There are unfading pictures of the heart
that shine softly in the deeps of the night,

I don’t need the stars to light my road tonight.

All things have a reason, and they have a time.
I know that, when I see the way your life fits into mine,

if only you could look at yourself through my eyes...

Distances have long filled the gaps between us.
Never forget, we are the ships passing the darkest storms,

and sailing over the broken veins of the roughest seas.

And when the waters will be calm, our anchors will meet
the land that holds through every season and all of time,

our eyes will see the shapes of the purest peace.

Never forget, our moments are not just ours to keep,
for, we are the ones whom time cannot touch…

when our souls touch, they touch for eternity.

An attempt at timelessness, written with a steady pace . . . and written well, in my opinion.

"our eyes will see the shapes of the purest peace."

I appreciate the water symbolism here, as it embodies emotion - and moreover, the emotion of love.

Well done - keep writing.

You weave the words into perfect patterns, perfect! It's always the best word to be used that you use. Completely eloquent.
Take care.
