Array ( [sid] => 59278 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Dreams Became Reality [time] => 2004-08-07 16:51:23 [hometext] => ive had major writers block for the longest time. and then i sat down one day after watching Bowling For Columbine and this is what happened. comments appreciated. [bodytext] => i dream of death
destruction and doom
of being locked away
in a padded room
of starvation, disease
dying babies in the womb
of men in war
whose death does loom

most would call those nightmares
but alas, i do not
the people of earth's
corpses soon shall rot
they've dug their own graves
their own sickness they've caught
they've spread their own lies
lies only fools have bought

their demise is brought on
by, none other than, they
their helpless souls
have gone astray
they believe their sins will be forgiven
if only they pray
they try to apologize
but they forget what to say

the population's hopeless
there's no helping them
their own poor souls
they've chosen to condemn [comments] => 1 [counter] => 195 [topic] => 13 [informant] => SuperAsh16 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

So true, so true. Nice flow and dark subject. Goes well together. I'll be looking for more of your writes.
