Between Here and Beyond
is a futile rush from
the creepy unknown towards the mundane known.
Though a yard towards Here
is a yard closer to Beyond.
Forged ever by fear of the dark unknown;
loving the gained,mourning the lost.Still
they elude what we care them for.
Yet a few break the snare
to rise above their selves
and give and give all they can.
The rest learn as they sleep in Beyond:
there's Peace and Joy like never in life before.
Wonder what they were fearful of.
