Filled with hate, and pain, and fear
I feel so scared and so alone
I just don’t know how I got here

When I try to escape
Shackles are thrown around me
Something holds me down
But it’s too dark I just can’t see

The darkness has consumed my soul
I try to scream for help as tears flood my eyes
But no one can hear my hushed voice
No one can hear my silent cries

So in this void is where I’m left
But I can’t figure out why I’m still alive
All it is, is merciless torture
I’m left to wait for my savior to arrive

Lost inside an endless void
Filled with hate, and pain, and fear

I just don’t know how I got here

Well, I think this poem is great! It's short, sweet, and right to the point. It's very deep. I like it a lot. I feel that way often. I'll be checking out more of your work!

Saviors come in all forms, and good things often come when we least expect it. I know at least one person has heard your cry, and I hope your future answers it. Thanks for sharing this vivid piece.

I CAN CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND THIS FEELING.
four or five years ago penniless and going to a clinc Dr. for meds he changed my life first with Zooloft after the first pill I awakened from a deep depression and I was amazed.
I realized my inability to take life as in and be happy was a chemical in balence in my brain.
Here I am now living on my own with my animals and perfectly contented and happy as with medication's help I found the real me and am very happy to have some sanity in my life. the meds jus help my brain to function normally to deal with life before that nothing in my life made sense.
That doesn't mean it's gonna be eassy it just means that u can take one problem at a time and deal with it. then u look around sometime later and life is worth the living as u don't keep making the same mistakes over and over.

I feel the same way all the time. i can be in a room with millions of people and scream, and yet feel like nobody heard me. the best advice i can give to u, is turn to a freind, i did and he has helped a lot. if that dont help, just hold ur head up and stay strong. Good poem look forward to seeing more
