rocking back and forth on the bed
your shadow sunken inside the matress
your presence lingers though you are forever gone
i silence my screams and tears
choking back the acid tears
singing my fair skin
my eyes burning
my heart bursting
my soul flown with you
for that is where it belongs
we cannot chose who we love
so naturally,my soul and heart has chosen you
but you've swept me aside, pushed me out of your life
and re-organised your heart to suite you
i clench my chest as i hear it ripping and bleeding internally
my heart feels
only a little
of what is left of your love for me
not much but enough to show you
how much i care
if i tear my heart out
will you comfort me
and promise you wont make me cry
you broke this one
but i forgive you
please...i'll bear my sin and savour!
i reach inside chest and tear my heart out...
