I’d take back every last wrong I did, Throw them in the bin & shut the lid, Make sure you never knew hurt, & that your heart never fell in the dirt. From my mistakes I am beginning to learn But through my veins I still feel the burn I wish I could switch off my fiery rage, I am moving nearer to my final stage. I am trying my best & it is hard, Trying to lock my anger in my back yard, Just when I think I have got it beaten, It comes back & another part of us is eaten. Right now I just want to hold you, Tell you of my love that is so true, I want to promise you it won’t happen again, But in my forecast forever lays the rain. I will never ever refrain from trying, To once & for all stop you from crying, Our love is far, far too precious, To be destroyed by something malicious.
