unto an evil yet unknown
Sorrow quenches all his dreams
causing great enmity
Constant searching in the dark;
constant stumping of the heart.
Exalted pleasures look like light
Luminous lurid heinous plight
Truth so close the soul can't feel it
This can not be comprehended
Sorrowful chiding, blanketing curse
Fate from knowledge is much worse
We know so much it makes us damned
The tree we ate of doppelgangs
until the truth can not be found
and wicked mercies do abound
We've all become the scolded scholars
with out knowledge that empowers
caught in a curse that will not end
unless our truth uncomprehends
Misguided fools who must aknowledge
that we need help to find who God is. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Archie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
