this void I have inside
everyday I feel like less
like another part of me died
my look of desperation
is apparent to those around
yet they offer nothing to me
they only cast thier frowns
disappointment in my failures
but never a helping hand
I cant do it by myself
on my own I cannot stand
I try to always do whats right
even when it leaves me wronged
I give to those who are weaker
all I can to make them strong
but in return nothing is given
for helping with thier life
they only turn thier backs on me
when it my turn to face the strife
I dont think I ask for that much
the one and only thing I yearn
maybe one day I can have
a helping hand in return

my hand i hold out if only you will reach
i offer my help, promising not to preach
if you see my back to you i have turned
it is only so you can climb upon and take the ride you have earned.....

Include me, holder, with the others here that are there for you. Really.

You've expressed yourself well... I'd say it's a good write, with good flow, etc.... but that seems trivial somehow. Instead, I'll simply say: I do very much hope that from this day forward... you feel like more and more and more... and hope that you know I mean it.

Knowing it's not always easy, but convinced that it's worth it,
SNM
