[bodytext] => It bleeds me so, in a thousand ways To see my folly breed anger’s mess To be bound by chains of cruel habits ’Tis clear a pain no balm can heal It bounds me to a fury so untamed Like a swirling tempest, plunging my might I’m ridiculed by my anger, forbidden, unsound Consuming all sense, logic and mind Too long the pains have others harboured For my fury resulted in unseemly consequences The shrieks so unjust, pierced their hearts like knives Slowly tearing apart the bridges of their love Could any melody mend their torn souls? To bring joy to worn out spirits And if time would turn back to ancient’s past Would I not refrain from anger’s rush? ’Tis so a torn in my weak and sinful flesh The fire unsmothered when alight by pride Oh, if only Will could tame the untamed Never will I bleed in a thousand ways.
