[bodytext] => How do you let yourself fully trust? When you fear things will go bust, Feelings left severed beyond repair, Heartache fixes you with a lonely stare. I really can’t help thinking, That one day when I am blinking, My love will vanish never to be found, Leaving me with not as much as a sound. I am waiting to be punished for my jaded past, Wondering when hurt will catch up at last, & pay me my well earned dues, Leave me feeling used & very abused. Fear drives my mind into negative thought, Pushes my trusting heart from ten to nought, I can’t let go of the barrier I hold, If I do then my true love might leave me & unfold. It almost feels like I’m awaiting trial, Pain & worry destroy me all the while, Taking what sane thoughts I have left, On my soul my feelings commit theft. I don’t think I’ll ever be totally free, From the doubts that I harbour inside me, Pain can be love & love can be pain, So therefore love can drive you slowly insane.
