I don’t care if you cry a tear,
For me or for your loss.
Think of all the tears that you have caused.

I don’t care if you can’t sleep at night,
Thinking of me, or your mistake,
Because it still doesn’t set it right.

I don’t care if you say,
You’re sorry every day.
Words won’t get me anywhere from feeling this way.

I don’t care if your heart is broken,
And will not seem to heal.
You cannot mend from words unspoken.

I don’t care if thinking about you is driving me mad,
And that I can’t help but want to forgive you,
I don’t care that I still want what we had.

I don’t care if you think you love me still,
Or that maybe I love you too.
I don’t care that I can’t live without you.

So ask me if I care that you’re leaving,
That I’m sorry for not hearing what you had to say.
And that I don’t care if you’re going away.

If the truth is what you want me to say,
I don’t care about the past,

I don’t care if you cry a tear,
