count the seconds
as this life slips away
she was very tortured
she could not stay
she cut so no one could see
just how much she bled
so abused in this life
just to hear what he had said
now her life is slipping away
her best friend in the world now chasing
as the gun was put to her head
her mother now pasing
one simple life slips away
as the blade slices her skin
what will she do now
as the blade makes its sin
people don't understand her
the only one...he is cherished
he is the only one mommy hates
but now her only daughter has perished
she hides behind her poetry
only letting him in
nobody else permitted
as she cuts herself again
it tears him up inside
to hear her struggling screams
to know that he has done all he can do
or so it seems
he promises never to give up
his heart breaking
he loves her, his best friend
they are love in the making
she calls to tell him goodbye
as one life slips away
he counts to three
and I love you is what they say

that was good, i kinda know how tha tis, except the guy isn't really there for me anymore. i really hope you never lose what you have with him. keep that as close to you as you can.
