"PEACE"

Peaceful lull, hush--no sound
Stands alone, tranquility bound.
Solemn, silent, stillness blue hue
So quiet--sense the value!

Upon life's stage, no applause.
No longer weary, no harmful cause
Peace of heart,
Peace of soul,
Peace of mind,
Pondering thoughts very kind.

One might hear a feather
Float-gliding gentler.
Take your bow, lifetime hour
Shhhhh.......be still, devour!

Embracing arms,
Comforting warm charms
Amity with oneself, harmony.
Storm of life....fought calmly

'Tis the Golden Years.....
Untroubled, mastered all fears.
Curtain calls have at last ceased
Nothing to prove, security unleased!

Center stage.....mind, soul, heart
Final bow, no new part.
Grateful mind,
Grateful soul,
Grateful heart,
Acts over, life's an Art!

The word "peace" has so many meanings for me and you touched upon so many in this poem.

Falling asleep at night and resting with nothing on my conscience is peace to me. I could ramble on and on (as I normally do) but I think i'll just say that this poem was comforting to read.

More importantly though is the fact that you are at peace with your life and the way you have lived it.

Loved this one ConSue.

Kie

Very beautiful poem and the picture is a dream.
Perfect picture of peace...so quiet and still.

how I do long for the long winters blanket of pure white snow...not a footprint or trace and the sparkle that mirrors the heavens.

thank you for sharing this. it is perfect.

Chris
