trying to disguise the pain
you say the things you cant undo
but deep inside you know thats not true
you clench your fists driving them through your wall
not believing what you here
all this pain
all this discomfort
nothing will make you smile
your chest in knots
your eyes are glistening and wet
as diamond tears dispearse from your eyes
you are thinking the truth was only lies
the tears are so beautiful
leaving diamond trails on your cheeks

im digging my nails into my skin
as crimson droplets form
im chewing on my cheek trying to keep the storm in
all this tragedy caused by my one sin
i have red lines from tearing at my face
i am a pitiful sight
so i isolate myself from everyone
they are outside as i write
the laughter leaking into the house
they ask me to join but i declilne
i can see them out the window
all the people who love me
beckoning me to join in the fun
but i turn away
my joints ache
my skin burns from wher i have torn at it w/ my nails
i cant hold any longer
the diamond tears fall
my face is red
my eyes are swollwen and wet
these beautiful diamond tears
but i am in a dimly lit room
there is no glisten

our diamond tears return again and again
such a sad memorable picture
the beauty of pain is right on our faces
we cant hide from our faults
so we are living in torment
the diamond tears finally stop
and stow away inside
waiting for another breakdown
