The year of our lord 1792. Dressed in a
frock against the chilly night air. She
walked out the door. Her mother needed
her there.

The new moon had risen. She looked about
the blackness in despair. It made her
apprehensive, she usually went without
a care. But her heart told her something
lie in wait out there.

Not going far her blood ran cold with dread.
An unatural voice whispered in the trees up
ahead. Come to me, the only words it said.
Her body dripped sweat and urine ran down her
legs.

Laughter rang out as the demon caught the scent.
This was all it needed knowing it's victim was
spent. He went to her then, as her mind rushed
away. Madness slipped in swiftly, taking rein.

A filthy hand clutched her neck in jubilant glee.
His fingers tracing the vein, that he loved tenderly.
Teeth plunging deep as he drank heartily. Then
dropping her body, an empty husk with no need.

The year of our lord 2003. The demon sat there
smiling. He had many good memories indeed. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 144 [topic] => 40 [informant] => DarkFey [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )
