Why I did this and why I acted like that,
Why the sky is blue and the night is black,
Why you played your sick little game,
How we were so different, yet exactly the same.
Blonde hair and brown eyes, brown hair and blue eyes,
We were sisters, until we each die.
Live and grow old together,
Was the saying we lived by.
It’s funny how we’ll never be friends again,
No matter how hard I try.
We were going to share all of life’s precious moments,
We were friends, forever and ever.
Someday you’ll look back and wonder “why?”
Why you loved me then,
Why we grew apart,
Why I can’t go back and re-live our friendship again.
I know you love me at heart, yet
We went our separate ways,
Someday you’ll look back and wonder “why?”
Why everything now is so different, yet exactly the same.
Why you made new friends,
Why we never speak,
Why the sky is clear, yet the outlook is bleak.
