And I lived in happiness and glee
Always knowin what was gonna be
And now I look back at past friends and mates
And I look now at all the fates
That I have lived under Gods un-seeing eye
And I look at all I let go by
I let my loves all get away
But I still live to see another day

Gates of Heaven and Stones of hell
One or the other, I will still have to dwell
Under judgement and fear
Now I see the one I truly hold dear
I will not lie and hide
I will not let my heart set me aside
Because I am one who has loved and hated
I am one who has contemplated
I've seen life for all it gives

Under watch from Gods and saints
From a world eyes can't see
And where minds can't think
My soul and spirits are beggining to sink
Coz answers of questions God can't tell
Are sending me and my mind to Hell
Gods realm and world is of it's own

Seas of cold and baron
Open up new worlds seen only at night
And only ever lit by ones own light
Because where light can't touch
Love doesn't exist
And minds worry and wander through all kinds of mist
Planets and stars are all a mystery
And all those in history
Have never explained
The existence of life itself
And why we leave these questions on a shelf
It is because we are afraid
We wish maybe that a God could have stayed

Obide all good and live like an angel
For they do not know wrong
With wings of silver and hearts of gold
They are the ones that know all
And they are the ones who will not fall
Humans are weak and angels are our better
So take it all in and learn to be the best
Look deep, until you find God's own crest
For mystery and truth have become one
Fact and fiction are the same

Crescent moon of a darkening sky
Maybe the greatest sight man can see
It's still a lie
Until we know truth from God himself
Everything can be questioned
Pure existence and life could be a dream
Things are not always as they seem
Hills with valleys still go deep
Secrets and lies are of will to keep
And as the journey of life goes on
Keep up the wander until a light has shone

Steps of gold and glory
All themselves tell a story
Of life and it's past
And how it all went too fast
Men of old and men who made us what we are
Are the ones who sit upon the star
That you see when you look high
So this time don't let it go by
The Catacombs and Crypts of this world
Tell more than any man can
Graves and homes are the past and the future
We all die and we all live

Mountains covered in snow
Maybe its all a show
Ever wondered what makes stuff real
Its your mind and your eyes that can lie
So what you see may not always be fact
Theres more to this world than eyes can see
And theres more to life than your mind can comprehend [comments] => 3 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 21 [informant] => cj_ranson [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

This is about a person who walks the earth wondering why and what for. Wonders about God and his existence and then says I will end up having to find out at the end.

NO YOU CAN FIND OUT RIGHT NOW..
You can say GOD teach me your word. Open my mind to it. my eyes to it and my ears to hear it and. Get a bible out and read. it for yourself. Go to a church and keep trying them until GOD lets you know in your heart that it is the church he wants you to go to. Keep praying keep seeking him out. and believe me with all of my heart YOU WILL FIND HIM. CAUSE once a person seeks after him.. God runs toward him. YOU WILL know why you were placed on this earth. You will find out all your answers. ... sandy good poem by the way. love how you put words together...
