The Path With No End........

I'm walking down this path with no end,
In search of something,maybe a friend,
Someone to talk to ,and help me,
But I find something else in my journey,
an old lady who did'nt have much to spare,
Very poor,with hardley any clothes to where,
My legs got weak,so I wanted to sit,
So me and the lady talked a bit,
She told me shes walked it before,
It's only made me tierd and poor,
But walk it if you must and see,
It was nothing but a dead end for me,
I found nothing in my journey down the road,
The weight on me was a tough load,
you might find what your looking for,
But I've learned by wanting to explore,
Each person is looking for something different out there,
not everyone has the time to spare,
So keep on walking I was told,
I better do it fast before I grow old,
Just as I turned to her to say Good-Bye,
She was gone in a blink of an eye!

This is so beautiful
So many things to say in this
poem. My favorite part is
Just as i turned to her to say Good-Bye
She was gone in a blink of an eye
That is beautiful! and so true
Time is so short here

I really can appreciate art such as this. It makes me feel good to know there are many aspiring writers out there such as you & I.
Keep with the same style of writing. It is similiar to my style. It works for you. Your poetry has depth, feeling, and message that makes you think after you've read it.
