Watched sunsets with my love,
And all in all tried
To please what was above.

But that night tore
Straight through my placid soul,
And watching that fool beat you
I somehow lost control.

I chased him down that alley,
Where he thought that he could hide,
Thinking being a helpless girl
I'd have cowered and just cried.

Pacing down towards him,
I fely my rage and fury seething
And I lashed out beating him till
He had almost stopped breathing.

He tried to fight back
But all his punches couldn't make me scream,
For might is useless against a girl
Who becomes a ruthless killing machine.

And all the while I was aching
So badly with a hatred pain,
I would have really killed him
If the police hadn't called my name.

Now I feel a different person,
Something snapped hard that night,
Like Frankenstein I feel so desperate to love,
But equally eager to kill and to fight. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 250 [topic] => 13 [informant] => phildel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
