Rules the Underworld, and all it's
Creatures of the Darkest Night.
None can stand her risen wrath
Surely none would wish to
And perhaps to run would be right.
She rules with an iron fist
And with a steel sword, she leads.
To army with demons and also with angels,
Those who rebel in might against her.
They are doomed to die in the lowest pits.
To cruelty and malice, she is no stranger.
She kills without cause, and thereby wins
Her great admiration by lowly demons.
Her beauty is like that of Aphrodite,
Though equally hideous is her appearance.
Her great evil deeds are known far and wide,
As are her works of skill and of might.
Each year annually she holds a feast
In her honor. Conceited you say?
So would others. But who will speak it out loud?
For her spies are everywhere
And she knows all the doings
Of the Underworld, both within and without.
Her speeches are legends of renown
For their great self-indulgence.
Around her, the aura of evil suffocates.
She bends lesser demons to her will
Though they are naught to her.
Her complete reign, she mercilessly advocates.
She defies God and fights Him.
She hates Him in her deepest heart.
God is the evil one in her icy blue eyes.
She is the God to her minions
And she accepts this view as true.
She counts all other doctrines as lies.
Demons and angels fear her.
They fear her anger and wrath.
With every passing moment she becomes harsher.
She is completely evil without hope.
There is no escape from her gaze.
This is the Queen of the Underwold, Akasha. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 215 [topic] => 13 [informant] => luna_mica [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

Informative, yet entertaining, of course in a dark way.
Great write.

Not anything to do with Aaliyah's film, I'm sure. I think you are a good writer, judging by the descriptive nature of this write.

Read and comment on other people's work more, and give this your poetry the recognition its worth.
