His images painted in my mind with brush strokes of sensitivity and romance, but never trust.
An endless voice, speaking to my heart through the towers of abyss, a song played for my deaf ears.

The clock reads one thirty.

Waves of emotions crash through my brain.
Not wanting them to stop.
Not wanting them to continue.
A catch 22, his favourite saying.
A never ending conversation between two hearts with no words needed.

The clock reads two thirty.

Once confused with feelings of love and hate, a poet saved me.
Once sure of my fate, a poet changed me.
Once felt the love of another, a poet forces me to the all too popular fork in the road.

Time or intrigue?

In a pinch of reality, my parachute breaks.
I hope you found that truth to set you free.
I was still looking for mine.
Our never ending conversation… ends.
The alarm rings - déjà vu!
Being forced to live through this again; there’s my truth.

For me reading a poem is all about the feel that I get from a reading and the emotion it garners. Sometimes what I read would make me laugh, make me happy, sometimes it would make me sad and cause uncomfortable tears to visit upon my eyes. I often argue with friends that a poem can be crafted in any form or fashion regardless of poetic principles or grammatical guidelines but the essence of poems almost always stems from the feeling of the poet and as such should at least transfer its essence to the reader. And in here, I find your work to be quite powerful indeed for it transfers something I don't quite know yet into my mind at least...a feeling of forlorn convergence between loss and gain. Quite surreal in a bit or it could be that my insomnia has begun to caue me to lose my grasp on reality. But all in all a very powerful write that doth beleaguers the reader into a window of your soul perhaps. In truth this write coincides for me to a relateable incident so it is as if I am listening to the words of my opposite number in that my nostalgic charade. Anyway great write!

An emotional roller coaster... A great write that is an inspiration for myself. I am sure if I know you in person, I would think of you as an inspiration as well. I hope you find the truth that you seek, and may that truth set you on the path to a life of happiness. Success is not defined by where you end up in life, but rather the obstacles you have overcome... I am sure you look forward to the day that you can look back on this and feel relieved that you have found your truth... no matter where this guy ends up... but he does sound like he likes you a whole bunch. Good luck with everything.
