i made a vow to forget them never
now i look that we're not together
and i notice that love is to strong a word to give to the emotion of hate

the tragedies that together we all suffered
were times we never thought we heard
memories lay frail like a broken dead bird
because of evil in the minds of humans, which we all are

moments of life that we treasure
treasures we may have of a him or her
sensuality is nothing but a treasured blur
isnt it sad that good treasures always seemed to be buried in forgotten places

life we've lived living not right
covered in the coldness of a dead night
keeping withered warmth held closely tight
yet we know that what we live is wrong and what we know is blindness [comments] => 2 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 21 [informant] => abnormalpunk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

I completely understand this. I always think "I'll never forget this moment!" and at times I remember, but then I feel so guilty for forgetting for so long.

what is forgotten wasnt essential to to live in the present and was pushed away to make you stop living in the past.
