To avoid tomorrow and end today
Fairytales told on pale, soft skin
Of lives, of fights we did not win
How her life ended at the mercy of her hand
How going this fast just wasn't planned
When ***** seemed to tough she took to this
The pain, the blood, she did not miss
But the relief of all and knowing shes well...
..Not well, but alive enough to endure some more hell
I mean life, same thing, theres no difference there
Scars piling up, and people start to stare
So she cuts over old scars, reripping to new
Since shes so lost in herself to know what to do
She cuts away to numb her life
Shes relying soley on that knife
Security it provides, marks to prove
More and more with every move
You'd think she'd stop, she did too
But this is all she knows that she can do
When friends are busy, people arent there
When things are destroyed, and they dont care
Its there, reliable and sharp as ever
Insert, yank, its like a lever
Soaked papertowels, sinks stained red
From scarred up arms that endlessly bled [comments] => 4 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 36 [informant] => xemptydecemberx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

You are very good with words. You wrote this poem with such depth and emotion...it's crazy. This is by far one of the top ten on my list. Keep writing more poems...so I can read more of your work. You are awesome.
