Array ( [sid] => 63889 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => This Brief Moment of Glory [time] => 2004-09-15 20:17:26 [hometext] => Okay, this was an assignment for school, and it was supposed to be a REALLY CHEESY poem. So don't hate me 'cause it's cheesy... Nevertheless, I wrote it for my love, Ami, so enjoy sweetheart. Feel free to comment. [bodytext] => It seems to me
That all we see
In this brief moment of glory
This instant we call life
Is at the end of a knife
Or the beginning of the hilt
As we wilt
Like a rose
That's supposed
To symbolize love
Or a white dove
They die out
So how can't we pout?
When we lose
The one we choose
To spend our life with
But you'll see
As I've seen
Everyone has another
To spend time with forever
To marry or wed
'Til they lie on their death bed
And I've found her
And we'll always be together
So keep an eye out or you'll miss the one
As I almost missed

I really like the poem, it is a stark contrast to th ones I am writing. and it is not really all that cheesy as long as it is true to what you actually believe.
