I find my nose is cut and bleeding
too busy to stop
I just dab it a on top
and continue my gardening this evening

digging some holes
for the plants to grow on poles
I slip and fall in the mud
I land with a thud
break my thongs and have to finish in my soles

I water the plants to begin
for they have to grow bushy not thin
my hair gets caught in the tap
I soldier on and stand in dogs c**p
I scrape off with a flat bit of tin

now I know I look a sight
but I want to garden, right!
so I tidy my tools away
looking terrible I must say
I hear a car park and think who is calling tonight?

I try to hide
but my hubby is inside
and answers she's out the back "she'll be happy to see ya"
no time for washing, ha!
Oh Suzi *blushing* havn't seen ya since I was a bride!
