Its country life on the heath
but if I dare, I would like to share
the secrets that hide underneath

There`s dig a grave Dave who`s a sexual slave
to the old vicars daughter Lu
They say she`s got a room thats a punishment tomb
and you can hire it for a bit of a do

And heres Mrs Flow with her young gigalo
She says he`s her Head handyman
He sows all the seeds and digs up her weeds
and satisfys her all that he can

The head of the fete is old Mr gate
a function he never would miss
he chooses the girl to be crowned Princess Pearl
and he makes sure she gets a french kiss

Ssshh, dont look around for here`s Mr Brown
the head of the bell ringing team
while your pulling your rope he goes in for a grope
not as innocent as first he may seem

look whos arrived, its old Bee hive Clive
he sells you lots of his honey
he says leave all the rest and come taste the best
but hes only after your money

and heres Mrs Burt whos a right little flirt
shes in love with the postman John
she gets they say, two deliveries a day
while the rest of us only get one.

Lord of the Manor, old Mr Banner
judges the beauty contest again
Now we dont like to pry, but I think we know why
that he always chooses young men!

It may sound a joke, but thats some of the folk
that live round the village green
secrets are rife but its called country life
though it must sound a little obsene.

I really liked the color of this limerick. You have an inviting, and timeless aristocratic slant in your style.

Hi there chatabox,
This is the first poem of your`s I have ever read, IT WONT BE THE LAST.
You have such a casual, mishievous witty sense of humor that I just love.
My lighter stuff is still back at the old site, seems I`ve got mostly dark, depressing poems here, that don`t reflect the real me.
I`m always in such a @#&*#$%# hurry, wish I had more time. THIS IS GREAT.
I`ll make a point of checking you out when I have more time Penny.
Take care. Thumb
