Some grab their chances while they're open
and grasp reality.
Some are too weak-minded and
not ready to handle what's coming for them.
Everything inside becomes alive, all the
moments, all those everlasting, fulfilling
memories that can neither be touched or changed,
and you feel as if every emotion
that you have ever encountered is running
through your blood.
Your feelings, they mingle,
and though they do not make sense
to the brain, they make sense to the heart.
Those are the times that make life what it
is, the best and the worst.
Those are the times that let you know
you have a family, a heart,
empathy, sympathy, and all that comes with it.
Those are the times that

It's funny, funny how life can just turn,
look you straight in the eye at any moment
and say "Ready or not, here I come."
Some grab their chances while they're open
and grasp reality.
Some are too weak-minded and
not ready to handle what's coming for them.
Everything inside becomes alive, all the
moments, all those everlasting, fulfilling
